The price is quite reasonable and the quality is go beyond the price. It is fun to see chefs doing their job and serve us nice sushi. I ordered 12 pieces set at around 5500 yen, it makes me very full. Although we can’t speak Japanese, the staffs are very helpful and try their best to understand what we are saying.

Chanced upon this place when I googled for delicious sushi - and indeed so. In fact, the quality of the sashimi and sushi is mind-blowing. The staff are so friendly to us even when we just walked in without prior reservation. If you are in Fukuoka and in the vicinity, do check out this one for a cozy and relaxing meal.
We had some difficulty finding sushi restaurants in our hotel area that had enough space for our family of four (two adults, two younger teenagers). We did not realize until it was too late that reservations were required at many establishments so we tried Hakata Tatsumi Sushi after being turned away from two other restaurants due to lack of space. Even though we did not have a reservation, the staff at Hakata Tatsumi were kind enough to find a space for us and we were able to enjoy a truly delicious meal in a private room upstairs. The service was excellent and the food was wonderfully crafted. Highly recommend.
The restaurant provide also English menu. I ordered omakase at lunch time. Every pieces was so great. Last but not least, finishing with a surprisingly good dessert and a small cup of espresso.
i got the take lunch set course. everything was pretty good. i love the nigiri pieces the most, although i think i was short of 2 piece since it’s supposed to be 9 pieces i think? oh well. sitting at the counter was also nice.
Very fresh and good sushi! Cook went above to explain to us and show what is it that we received on our plate. I am not biggest fan of sushi, but I enjoyed the time spend here very much
